The Other Cafe’s Comedy Showcase series. Comedic Ventures carries the torch and presents ongoing Bay Area comedy showcases featuring the former club’s thoughtful brand of Stand-up, Improv, and Sketch 
comedy. Sophisticated and thoughtful comedy for Bay Area audiences in an ongoing series, always including a way to benefit local nonprofits. For more of the story and to sign up to get notified…The Other Café started in 1997 and was renowned for presenting a brand of comedy rooted in topical, character-driven, and non-mean-spirited stand-up and sketch comedy. Alumni include Dana Carvey, Robin Williams, Paula Poundstone, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres, Kevin Pollak, Geoff Bolt, Elayne Boosler, Will Durst, Tom Kenney, Sue Murphy, Bob Sarlatte, Kevin Nealon, Kevin Meaney, to name just a few.

TEDxMarin is curated by CEO Bob Ayres under a direct license from The TED Conference. It enjoys a vibrant membership of more than 7500 (and growing) Bay Area executives and entrepreneurs. Two Degrees Salons. Comedic Ventures sponsors an ongoing industry salon… entitled TwoDegrees. A TwoDegrees gathering is a curated “by invitation only” event and is typically free to attend. However, Invitations are extended to members of our invitation list only. Please apply here if you’d like to request to be on the invitation list. Gatherings are held twice a year in Northern California. Starting in 1997, the TNTY Project was always about engaging and connecting industry leaders, 
visionaries, press, policymakers, VCs, analysts, local entrepreneurs, and start-ups to explore what lies ahead. Connecting interesting with the interested has always been ground zero for us.
