The Other Café was renowned for presenting a brand of comedy rooted in topical, character driven and non mean-spirited stand-up and sketch comedy. Alumni include Dana Carvey, Robin Williams, Paula Poundstone, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres, Kevin Pollak, Geoff Bolt, Elayne Boosler, Will Durst, Tom Kenney, Sue Murphy, Bob Sarlatte, Kevin Nealon, Kevin Meaney to name just a few.
Our upcoming Bay area showcases will feature this thoughtful brand of Stand-up, Improv, and Sketch comedy. In all cases these shows will allow audiences to sample the best of touring and local comedians. Sophisticated and thoughtful comedy for Bay Area audiences in an on going quarterly series, with a percentage of proceeds to benefit local non profits.
